Lotterywest is celebrating another WA millionaire, thanks to last night’s Wednesday Lotto draw.
The ticket was bought with a Lotterywest membership online and matched the numbers 19, 14, 22, 44, 18 and 9.
It was one of three Division One winners produced across the nation last night, each worth $1 million.
Meanwhile, an Albany woman has thanked perseverance as the reason for her Wednesday Lotto $1 million Division One prize.
Their ticket from Brooks Garden News, matched the numbers to a Division One Prize in last week’s Wednesday Lotto draw.
The winner said she was thrilled just to be able to tell her husband the good news and to prove him wrong.
“My husband used to tell me to stop buying Lotto tickets as he thought we would never win,” she said.
“I’ve always worked hard for my money, so for this news I just said, “wow!” and I couldn’t wait to tell him.”
Although the husband admitted to questioning his wife’s persistence, he was happy to be proven wrong.
“I am so happy for her,” he said.
Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said all eyes were now turned to Tuesday’s $50 million OZ Lotto jackpot.
“WA is home to 58 Division One winners for 2021 and we’re hoping after Tuesday’s jackpot, we can add to this number,” Ms Coleman said.
Tickets for OZ Lotto’s $50 million draw can be bought up until 6pm on draw day in-sore, online or via the app.
