Play Responsibly

Lotterywest’s vision is to build a better WA together.

Each week we give Western Australians a chance to dream through our lottery games which in turn, raises funds for the Western Australian community.

As a Government entity and iconic WA brand, Lotterywest is committed to ensuring that our games are safe and return value to the community.

For most people, playing lottery games is fun and low risk. However, a small number of people may find that they are spending more than they can afford, or that gambling is having a negative impact on other areas of their life.

Our Player Safety Program outlines our commitment to all our players to provide a safe playing environment, and assist players that may have experienced harm from gambling or be at risk of experiencing gambling harm. Our Player Safety Guiding Principles include, Lotterywest:

  • Has a responsibility to provide games and environments that support safe play
  • Will provide players with the education and tools to make informed choices
  • Will avoid targeting known vulnerable populations and will not encourage anyone to play beyond their means
  • Will continually seek feedback and data to improve player safety
  • Players have both responsibility and autonomy to make safe play choices
