Scitech Discovery Centre is WA's hands-on science and technology discovery Centre - a science wonderland for children growing up, and still sparking curiosity for young minds today, Scitech invites visitors to explore, discover, and learn.
Thanks to you playing Lotto, a $571,000 Lotterywest grant has gone towards new permanent exhibits titled 'The Here There Everywhere'. The exhibits aim to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers and innovators and have been designed to demonstrate how applied science, technology, engineering and mathematics is impacting our lives, both close to home and on a global scale.
The project will also aim to inspire the next generation by showcasing successes in innovation, in particular those that have been achieved by homegrown WA talent; Scitech Content Producer, Kimberley Phoon says, "it's so beautiful and immersive and it really highlights young people are our future."
That's the difference a Lotterywest grant makes in the WA community.
