What’s changed?
- New Division 2 prize
Win a taste of Set for Life, with a new Division 2 prize of $5,000 a month for a year (for up to 4 winners in every draw). There will be no changes to the Division 1 prize of $20,000 a month for 20 years (for up to 4 winners in every draw).
- More winners in every draw
We’re improving the odds of winning any prize from 1 in 59 to 1 in 50. Now you could win with 3 Winning Numbers + 1 Supplementary Number.
- Fewer numbers needed to win Division 1
In the new Set for Life game, you can choose 7 numbers from 44, instead of 8 numbers from 37 numbers. This means the odds of winning Division 1 will improve from 1 in 38,608,020 to 1 in 38,320,568.

Here’s how all the new prize divisions work, plus the estimated average prize for each division. Set for Life’s ‘Bonus Numbers’ will now be called Supplementary Numbers in the new game format.

When did the changes happen?
The first draw with these exciting changes was Draw 1691 on Monday 23 March 2020.
Pricing update
To help support the new Division 2 prize and more overall winners, the cost to play increased from 55c to 60c per game, per draw (plus retailer commission). The minimum entry requirement is one game across 7 consecutive draws. The term ‘QuickSET’ has also now been changed to ‘Slikpik’ to align with the other games.

What about favourite numbers?
If you had favourite Set for Life numbers, you’ll need to create a new set/s, as your previous favourite numbers were deleted after Draw 1684 at 7.00pm on Monday 16 March 2020.
If your favourite numbers are registered to your Lotterywest membership, you can either create new ones via your account online, or ask your retailer for a new Set for Life playslip and register your new favourite numbers in-store.
Remember, now you’ll only need to choose seven numbers from 1 – 44.
Were there any changes to Systems?
Systems tickets are no longer available for Set for Life as a result of the changes to the game.
