Seven mates win a share in Saturday Lotto's $10 million Division 1 prize!
The winning ticket was purchased from Hutton Street Lottery Centre and Newsagency in Osborne Park, and is now worth $1.4 million!
The ticket belonged to a group of seven mates, known as the Red Neck Punting Club, who have been playing their hand at Lotto for six years.
“We’ve had a few wins during our time, but this is the first Division One win,” a member of the club said.
“This win will be a huge help for seven young families.”
Only days after this win, WA's incredible winning streak continued with two winning tickets taking home $1 million each from Monday Lotto draw on 28 February.
One of WA’s winners was produced from Wellard Square News & Gift Newspower, whilst the other was sold at Lotterywest online.
Owner of the Wellard store, Ned Vulin, said the feeling of a win never gets old.
“We’ve sold seven winning tickets in the last 15 years, but it never gets old, there’s always a buzz right after a win,” he said.
“I hope the winner is one of my regulars. It’s always good to keep the win local.”
