In what’s shaping up to be an incredible start to 2022 for WA winners, one Western Australian has taken out a share of the $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw Division 1 prize.
The State’s winning ticket was purchased at Lotterywest Online and is now worth $2.5 million. It was amongst eight Division 1 winning tickets from across the country.
Lotterywest spokesperson Lisa Williams said this took the 2022 tally of Division 1 winners to 10, sharing in $36 million worth of prizes.
“I’m really excited to welcome WA’s first winning Superdraw ticket holder for the year to the Winners Room,” she said.
“Thanks to those players who entered this Superdraw, over $2.8 million has been raised to contribute to the Lotterywest grants program and support the WA community, so it’s a win, win all round!”
Nearly 250,000 WA players took home prizes across the other Divisions in Saturday's Superdraw.
