WA shares in $50 million OZ Lotto win

A Western Australian ticket has won $25 million after taking out a share of tonight’s $50 million OZ Lotto Division One prize.

Across the country one other ticket, from Queensland, matched the numbers to the Division One prize.

The WA ticket was sold via Lotterywest Online.

“This is a great way to start the new year,” Lotterywest A/CEO Jeremy Hubble said.

“We finished off 2021 with a total of 73 Division One winners and to welcome our seventh win for 2022 already, is great news for our State and players,” he said.

The good news doesn’t stop there, with over 112,000 WA players set to share in more than $2.2 million worth of prizes across the other Divisions tonight.

This includes three WA Division Two winners who each pocketed over $35,000.

These tickets were produced at Butler Central News in Butler, Heights Lottery Centre & News in Alexander Heights and Spencer Village News & Lotteries in Thornlie.

During OZ Lotto’s six- week jackpot run, more than $6.8 million has been raised for the WA community.

There’s still another chance for Western Australians to win big, with Thursday night’s $20 million Powerball jackpot on offer.

Tickets are available until 6pm draw day from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
