WA community the big winner in $100 million jackpot

Two tickets have shared in tonight’s $100 million Powerball Division One prize tonight.

While no one in WA matched the numbers for a Division One prize, more than 486,000 WA players took home prizes across the other Divisions.

Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said while WA didn’t take home the big prize this time, we raised more than $20.4 million to support the local community through our grants program.

“This year has set a new WA record of community return through combined grants and prizes,” he said.

“The past financial year has seen Lotterywest raise $1.05 billion in grants and lottery prizes.

“This community investment is only possible thanks to WA players and retailers.

Lotterywest is the only State Government owned and operated lottery in Australia, where all available profits are returned to the WA community.

WA players will have a chance to become the State’s next millionaire in this Saturday’s $20 million Superdraw.

Tickets are available until 6pm on draw day from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
