A trip around Australia is on the cards for an eastern suburbs couple after winning more than $890,000 in Saturday Lotto over the weekend.
The win, purchased from Kelmscott Newsagency, was among six tickets across the country to match the winning numbers and one of two from WA.
The Saturday Lotto winner said he still can’t believe it.
“I checked the numbers on Sunday morning, and I was in complete shock. I had to get my wife to double check what I was seeing,” he said.
“We’ve been playing the same numbers for years.”
Whilst the couple are still in shock, they have big plans for their winnings.
“We’ve always wanted to buy a mobile home and travel around Australia,” he said.
“This win makes that all possible now.”
Tonight’s Powerball jackpot could see player’s take home $30 million if the entire Division One prize is claimed.
