Western Australia may have experienced a stormy weekend, but two WA players have plenty to celebrate after becoming millionaires.
Two WA tickets matched the numbers to a Division One prize in Saturday Lotto, with each ticket taking home a prize worth more than $1.42 million.
Across the country, there were seven Division One winners, with the other winning tickets sold in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
WA’s winning tickets were purchased from Banksia Grove News and The Lucky Charm Rockingham.
Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said these winners take WA’s tally for the year to 51 Division One winners sharing in more than $90 million in prizes.
“It’s been a wild weekend in Perth, but these two West Aussies have weathered the storm in the best way possible,” she said.
“We look forward to hearing from these winners and welcoming them into Lotterywest’s winner’s room soon when they come forward to claim their prize.
“Since the start of 2025, WA has celebrated 36 wins thanks to Saturday Lotto, which continues to deliver the most Division One wins for WA players each year.”
Saturday’s draw also saw 11 West Aussies take home Division Two prizes of more than $10,000 each.
Lotterywest is uniquely the only State Government-owned and operated lottery in the country where all available profit from every ticket sold is returned to the WA community through Lotterywest’s grants program.
A Lotterywest grant of $3.38 million is supporting The PEAT Southwest project to better understand WA’s South West peatland ecosystems, which store significant carbon, regulate water flow, and support unique biodiversity.
The next chance for WA players to join the millionaires list is in Tuesday night’s $30 million OZ Lotto jackpot.
Tickets for OZ Lotto are available until 6pm on Tuesday in-store, online and via the Lotterywest App.
