Powerball jackpots to a massive $100 million

Powerball has jackpotted to a massive $100 million for the second time this year.

While no-one had all seven numbers and the Powerball needed to win Division One tonight, over 211,000 WA players took home a prize across the other divisions.

“It’s exciting to see the Powerball jackpot climbing,” Lotterywest spokesperson Sarah Dawson said.

WA players have enjoyed a successful year with Powerball so far, with a Kalgoorlie syndicate taking home a $63 million share in the $120 million Powerball in February and a Boulder group of work mates winning a $53 million share of the $160 million draw in October.”

“Hopefully we can build on these wins with another WA Division One winner next Thursday.”

Over the past four weeks of this jackpot run, WA players have raised more than $3.3 million for the community through Lotterywest’s grants program.

The winning numbers were 31, 23, 5, 28, 7, 18, 21 and the Powerball was 4.

The next chance for WA players to win big is next week’s $100 million Powerball and in the following Saturday’s $40 million Megadraw that will be held on New Year’s Eve.

Tickets can be bought until 6pm on the day of the draw from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
