Have you secured your $60 million Powerball ticket?

There’s still time to grab a ticket in tonight’s $60 million Powerball draw.

So far in 2023, there have been eight Division One Powerball winning entries across the country that collectively have taken home more than $154 million in prize money.

Western Australia’s latest Powerball win was a Swan Valley family who took home $40 million in March after purchasing a Slikpik 18 from Springs News in Bennett Springs.

“Out of the eight Powerball winners this year, five of the winners were from players picking their own numbers, which is a reverse from previous years,” Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said.

"Our advice is simple, if you want to beat to rush, get your tickets early as we’re expecting sales to peak between 4pm and 5pm today."

“During our busiest period we’re expecting to sell more than 500 tickets a minute.”

"We are also celebrating another WA Division One winner, thanks to last night's Wednesday Lotto's draw, with a ticket bought online now worth $1 million."

Thanks to WA players and retailers, as the only state government owned lottery in the country Lotterywest provides millions of dollars in grants back to WA community groups.

This financial year alone has seen more than $93 million go back into the WA community, thanks to Powerball sales.
