Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence Minister Jessica Stojkovski has presented a $200,000 Lotterywest grant to Zonta House to provide emergency relief funding for women escaping family and domestic violence (FDV).
Zonta House is a specialist family and domestic violence service provider, offering a range of supports and services to women impacted by family and domestic violence including the newly opened Koort Kulaark refuge in east metropolitan Perth. Koort Kulaark, which means 'Heart of our Home' in Noongar, provides crisis and transitional accommodation for victim-survivors of family and domestic violence.
The Lotterywest grant will directly support Zonta House's Emergency Relief Program, which provides immediate and essential assistance to individuals and families escaping FDV.
