A northern suburbs woman has taken home a Division One prize worth more than $653,000, thanks to Saturday Lotto.
The winning ticket, which was a four game Multiweek ticket purchased from Lotterywest online, was one of eight Division One tickets across the nation.
The WA ticket holder, a northern suburbs woman in her 50’s, didn’t waste any time before visiting Lotterywest HQ on Monday morning to claim her prize.
“I screamed so loud when I realised I had won that my son could hear me with his headphones on,” she said.
“This is really life changing for us.”
The winner said she plans to buy a home and move to the South West to be closer to friends.
Lotterywest spokesperson Sarah Dawson said there were also seven Division Two ticket holders in WA, each worth more than $10,000, with two of these tickets shared as part of syndicates.
“WA has celebrated 79 Division One winners so far this year, with these players sharing more than $209 million in prizes,” Sarah said.
OZ Lotto and Powerball have both jackpotted to $20 million this week, giving WA players another chance to join the State’s millionaire’s club.
Tickets are available from Lotterywest in-store, online and via the App until 6pm each day.
