Kalgoorlie has finished 2022 as regional WA’s hottest spot for Division One wins.
Lotterywest players across Western Australia have shared in more than $227 million worth of Division One wins for 2022, with $120 million of that prize money going back to Kalgoorlie.
Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder finished the year with six Division One wins for 2022.
“It has been an amazing year for our Kalgoorlie- Boulder players and retailers, especially for Boulder Newsagency and Lotto, notching up four Division One wins in a year, James Mooney said.
Meanwhile, The City of Bunbury finished the year with two Scratch‘n’Win Top Prizes, worth a combined $500,000.
The City of Greater Geraldton, Mandurah and the Shire of Murray also celebrated two Scratch‘n’Win prizes in 2022.
“Our Scratch‘n’Win players claim prizes ranging from $5,000 to $300,000 and it never gets old seeing the look of disbelief and joy on each winner’s face,” Mr Mooney said.
“Christmas scratchies continue to be a popular gift, with more than $3.3 million in prizes won from tickets last Christmas and over $1 million returned to the community in grants.”
West Aussies have another chance to win big and finish the year off with a bang in Saturday’s New Year’s Eve $40 million Megadraw.
