Joondalup itch helps to claim Scratch ‘n’ Win hotspot

Scratch‘n’Win players across Western Australia have shared in more than $5.5 million worth of Top Prizes in 2022, with the City of Joondalup enjoying the most wins this year.

Lotterywest has crunched the numbers to find which location was home to the most satisfising scratch in WA.

The City of Joondalup produced five winners in 2022, with the City of Swan and Cockburn sharing second place, with four Top Prize wins each.

The City of Perth, Bayswater, Melville and Stirling were not far behind with three wins a piece.

“We’d also like to congratulate Champion Drive News in Armadale, Palmrya Supa News and The Lucky Charm Pinjarra who each sold two Top Prizes this year,” Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said.

“We have seen Scratch‘n’Win players claim prizes ranging from $5,000 to $300,000 and it never gets old seeing the look of disbelief and joy on each winner’s face when they visit Lotterywest.”

WA players have one final chance to make 2022 their year, with Saturday’s $40 million New Year’s Eve Megadraw.

“We would love to see some more West Aussies finish 2022 off with a bang and share in a life changing prize thanks to Saturday Lotto,” Mr Mooney said.

Get your Megadraw tickets by 6pm on Saturday 31 December in-store, online or via the app.
