Good things come in threes

Lotterywest is encouraging anyone who purchased a ticket in Northam for Saturday’s Lotto to check their numbers as they could be WA’s third millionaire of the week.

The winning ticket was sold at Warricks Newsagency and is worth an impressive $1,799,494.87.

Owner, Troy Robertson, welcomed the good news stating they were due for another win.

“The last time we produced a Division One win, we had three wins within four years, so I’m hoping this will spark another run like that,” he said.

“I'm hoping the winner is a local from the Northam community. That would be really fantastic.”

Across the country, three players claimed a Division One prize.

“This is the third Division One win for WA in a week, with millionaires also created following both Monday and Wednesday’s Lotto games,” Lotterywest spokesperson Lisa Williams said.

“WA has had an impressive run of local winners this year and we’re delighted to have produced another win for the state.”

“Thanks to this draw, over $1.7 million will now go back to the WA community through our grants program.”

The million dollar prize wasn’t the only win in Saturday’s draw, with over 163,000 WA players taking home prizes across all other Divisions. This included ten Division Two winning tickets, each worth over $9,260. These were sold at:

  • Bassendean Newsagency
  • Bishop Street Newsagency on Morley
  • Lotterywest Play Online
  • Morley Millions
  • North Beach Newsagency
  • Peppermint Grove Newsagency
  • Roselea Newsagency, Balcatta
  • Thornlie Square Newspower
  • Wanneroo Winners Lotto Kiosk
  • West Busselton News & Post.

The winning numbers were 19, 1, 40, 31, 35 and 8.

The weekend also saw two WA players win the Set For Life Division Two prize, each worth $5,000 a month for 12 months. The winning tickets were sold at Brighton Village Newsagency and Heights Lottery Centre & Newsagency.

Tickets for tomorrow’s $5 million OZ Lotto game are available up until 6pm on draw day in-store, online or via the app.
