Goldfields Lotto luck continues

WA has struck gold once again with a new millionaire created in last night’s Monday Lotto draw.

The Division One ticket, worth $1 million was sold at Boulder Newsagency and Lotto.

Owner Michael Saville was delighted that his store had produced a winner.

“It feels really good to have a win!” he said.

“It’s the first big win we’ve had in the five years I’ve been here.”

So far this year, 24 WA players have shared in more than $114 million worth of Division One prizes.

It comes just weeks after a ticket from Mt Magnet took home over $1 million and only months after a 250-share Kalgoorlie syndicate scooped a $63 million share of the Powerball jackpot.

Lotterywest spokesperson Lisa Williams said regional WA is having a fantastic Lotto run.

“Lady luck seems to be looking after regional WA at the moment,” she said.

“This is the fifth win for the regions this year,

“Over $68 million has been shared between regional Division One winners, that’s an impressive tally.”

Thanks to those that purchase Lotterywest tickets, all available profits are returned to the WA community.

Tickets for tonight’s $2 million OZ Lotto draw are available until 6pm from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
