Western Australians are being urged to get out this weekend and celebrate their State, with the WA Day Festival set to return even bigger than before.
The Perth WA Day Festival will run over Sunday and Monday, 4 and 5 June, with live entertainment, rides, food trucks, fireworks and drone light shows stretching from the Optus Stadium foreshore to Burswood Park.
The State Government is providing $1.2 million to celebrate WA for WA Day events in both the city and the regions, with a further $900,000 from Lotterywest to support Perth and regional activities.
