Western Australia has another chance to set a record Division One win for 2023, thanks to tonight’s $60 million Powerball draw.
As no ticket across the country has yet matched the numbers to a Division One win for the past four Powerball draws, the prize has jumped to $60 million.
Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said WA’s biggest win for the year was back in March, set by a Swan Valley family who took home the entire $40 million jackpot thanks to their ticket from Springs News in Bennett Springs.
“So far this year WA has celebrated 69 Division One winners, with these players sharing in almost $192 million,” Mr Mooney said.
“It’s expected that up to one-in-six Australian adults will have an entry in Thursday’s draw.
“We’ve celebrated 12 Powerball Division One wins across Australia this year, who have collectively taken home more than $394 million in prize money.”
Tickets for tonight’s $60 million Powerball draw are available in-store, online and via the App before 6pm.
