An Esperance player was the sole Division One winner in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw, taking home more than $5.1 million.
The ticket was purchased from Boulevard News Esperance and is the first time a West Aussie has won the entire Saturday Lotto prize this year.
Lotterywest spokesperson Emma Rogers said this year Saturday Lotto has created the most Division One winners out of any game, with this win marking the 51st Division One winner for 2023.
“The entire State is also a winner, with the profits from each draw funding Lotterywest grants,” Emma said.
“Thanks to WA players, Lotterywest has been able to provide a grant of $147,690 for refurbishments of Esperance Lotteries House which will help local not-for-profits continue to support the community.”
Saturday’s draw also saw eight West Australians score Division Two prizes of more than $15,000 each.

This news comes with only five weeks until one of the biggest Saturday Lotto draws of the year, the $30 million Megadraw on 30 December.
Tickets are available in-store, online and via the Lotterywest App until 6pm draw day.
