Early Easter treat for WA’s latest millionaire

One lucky WA player is heading into the Easter break on a high note after winning $1 million in last night’s Monday Lotto draw.

The ticket, sold from Maddington Lottery Centre, matched the numbers 37, 30, 40, 26, 32, 36, 10 and 35, and was the only ticket to do so across the nation.

This win marks WA’s fifth Monday millionaire for the year, with a previous winner saying Monday is now his new favourite day of the week.

“There’s no better way to start to the week. I was in absolute shock,” he said.

“My mate and I who went halves in the ticket were meant to play a round of golf the next day, but we couldn’t even finish the game we were too excited to get down to Lotterywest HQ and verify our ticket.”

“We’ve been waiting for this win for a long time, it feels like a belated Christmas gift,” said Maddington Lottery Centre owner, Allen Weng.

“Monday Lotto is a favourite amongst our regular customers and I’m really hoping the winner is one of them.”

The good news doesn’t stop there with three Division Two prizes produced, worth more than $3,500 each.

The Division Two Monday Lotto tickets were sold from:

The next chance to cash in on WA’s winning streak is tonight’s $5 million OZ Lotto draw. Tickets are available until 6pm tonight from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
