The Cook Government has today announced a $1 million boost to the Dalyellup multipurpose community and youth centre project.
The State Government has previously invested $8 million in the project, through the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries - with additional funding now secured to meet project cost escalations.
There was also a $1.9 million contribution from Lotterywest, along with $500,000 from the Shire of Capel, which has also submitted an expression of interest with the Commonwealth Government Growing Regions Program for further funding towards the project.
