Collie has celebrated its second Saturday Lotto win in as many weeks, with a Saturday Lotto ticket sold in the regional town now worth more than $800,000.
The winning ticket was one of eight across the country and was sold from Reuben’s News.
This latest win follows last Saturday’s result, when Reuben’s News sold a ticket worth more than $2.16 million.
Reuben’s News manager Paul Reuben said the flurry of wins has created a buzz around town.
“This is our third big win in the last two weeks – after a Saturday Lotto win last weekend, and a scratchie top prize of $100,000 the week before,” he said.
“It’s been all fun and games among the staff, guessing who sold the winning ticket.
“I’m thrilled that the prize goes to someone who came in store and supported a small business like ours.”
Lotterywest spokesperson Emma Rogers said Lotterywest is still waiting to welcome both winners to the Lotterywest Winners’ Room.
“It’s fantastic to see this excitement in a small WA town and how it brings energy to the community while supporting local business,” she said.
Western Australia also had seven Division Two winners across the State in Saturday’s draw, each taking home more than $9,100.
The Division Two tickets were sold from:
- AP Newsagency in Byford
- Averley News
- Banksia Grove News
- City News Kalgoorlie
- GJ’s Lottery Centre & News in Geraldton
- Lotterywest Play Online x2
The next chance for WA players to become a multi-millionaire is in tonight’s $8 million OZ Lotto jackpot, with tickets available until 6pm in-store, online or via the Lotterywest App.
