A Morley family’s Christmas plans took a unique turn after discovering their Saturday Lotto ticket matched the numbers to a prize of more than $835,000.
The ticket, from the Lucky Charm Noranda, was one of seven Division One wins across the country for Saturday Lotto’s Christmas Eve draw.
“It stuffed up our last-minute Christmas wrapping and prep, but in the best way possible,” the winner said.
“We only managed to get three hours of sleep before Christmas, so it all became a bit of a blur.”
Meanwhile, Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said the search continues for Saturday Lotto’s $3.3 million winner.
“We are still waiting to hear from the owner of the ticket from Currambine Lottery Centre, which is worth more than $3.3 million” he said.
“During this time of the year it’s easy to switch off, but if you did buy a ticket in Saturday’s $40 million Megadraw, check your numbers because you might be able to extend your holidays.
“The next major event for WA players is Saturday’s $10 million draw, tickets are available until 6pm on draw day in-store, online or via the app.”
