Can WA do it again and bring home the $80 million Powerball?

The excitement is building across the state for tonight’s mighty $80 million Powerball jackpot.

Lotterywest spokesperson Lisa Williams said they are seeing a surge in demand for tickets leading up to this draw.

“Jackpots of this size always generate a great deal of interest and we estimate almost one in four adult West Aussies will have a ticket for tonight’s draw.

“When the Powerball jackpot last hit $80 million in February, we saw almost 46,000 tickets sold between 4-5pm on draw day. That’s an average of 760 tickets sold every minute.

“Syndicates are popular way to play, with WA’s last two Division One Powerball draws won by syndicates. You can share the cost of a ticket with friends, family or work mates and at the same time, share the excitement of the win.”
