Burswood player enjoys $1 million mid-week win

A Wednesday Lotto player from Burswood has scored the $1 million Division One prize in last night’s draw, while another $1 million win remains unclaimed.

Last night’s winning ticket was purchased from Burswood Lucky Lottery Centre and was one of two Division One winners across the nation.

Tyson Wellman of Burswood Lucky Lottery Centre was delighted to have sold the Division One ticket.

“The staff and I are so excited,” Tyson said.

“This is our first stand-alone Division One ticket, after previously selling a winning share in a Lotto syndicate.”

Lotterywest spokesperson Emma Rogers said nine West Australians have matched the numbers for a Wednesday Lotto Division One win this year, however one ticket remains unclaimed.

“WA players should check their wallets, car consoles, or wherever they might have stashed a Lotto ticket if they’ve purchased from Jackpot Lottery Centre in Mirrabooka,” Emma said.

“The $1 million Wednesday Lotto prize from March 2023 remains unclaimed.”

Plus, the owner of a Wednesday Lotto ticket from City News Kalgoorlie took home a Division Two prize worth more than $2,700 in last night’s draw.

The next chance for West Aussies to join the winners’ list is tonight in Powerball’s $40 million jackpot.

Tickets are available until 6pm in-store, online and through the Lotterywest App.
