Bassendean Set for Life ticket now worth $20,000 a month for 20 years

A Set for Life ticket sold from Bassedean has matched the numbers to a Division One prize of $20,000 a month for the next 20 years.

The ticket for Friday night's draw was sold from The Lucky Charm in Bassendean and is the fifth Set for Life Division One win for Western Australia in 2023.

"This win now makes it a new record for WA when it comes to Set for Life," Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said.

“Since the game’s launch in 2015, the most Set for Life winners WA has had in a year is three, so it’s fantastic to have built on our record-breaking year with five wins.

“All eyes are now on tonight’s $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw, with tickets available in-store, online or via the app until 6pm.”

Set for Life is a daily game that offers a Division One prize of $20,000 a month for 20 years and a Division Two prize of $5,000 a month for a year.

Another unique feature of Set for Life is the ticket. One ticket provides an entry in seven consecutive daily draws.
