A weekend of wins for WA

Western Australian players are being encouraged to check their tickets, after two Division One wins were recorded in WA this weekend.

The good news started on Friday evening, when a Millionaire Medley ticket from Two Rocks News and Post matched the numbers to a $1 million prize.

Fresh on the heels of Friday’s win was a $627,568 Saturday Lotto Division One prize, purchased by a Lotterywest Play Online player.

Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said thanks to the two wins across the weekend, WA’s Division One tally is 32 for 2025 so far.

“These WA winners are sharing in more than $67 million worth of Division One prizes,” he said.

“We are hoping to add to WA’s winners’ list following Thursday’s $100 million Powerball jackpot.

“Thursday’s $100 million draw is the biggest jackpot offered by Powerball so far this year, and it would be fantastic to see a win of this size shared by a few WA players.

“When jackpots reach these heights, they create a wonderful chance for players to join a syndicate with friends, family or workmates, to share the cost of a ticket and possibly the joy of a win.”

Saturday Lotto’s draw also created seven Division Two winning tickets, with each ticket winning a prize of around $7,600.
