The State Government has awarded a combined $4.4 million to Ruah Community Services towards building a new centre for women and children experiencing family and domestic violence.
A $2.9 million Lotterywest grant and $1.5 million in capital funding has been allocated to The Ruah Centre for Women and Children, which is currently under construction.
The funding is in addition to a previous $4 million Lotterywest grant, taking total government investment in the project to $8.4 million and builds on the State Government's record $200 million investment in new initiatives to respond to family and domestic violence.
