Western Australia is ending 2023 on a high note, with two players celebrating Division One wins on the second last day of the year.
WA’s winners were among 13 across the nation who are sharing in Saturday Lotto Megadraw’s $30 million prize.
The tickets are now worth $2.3 million each, with one sold from Michael's Health Care Chemist in Wembley and the other from Lotterywest online.
Lotterywest spokesperson Emma Rogers said these winners bring the year’s tally to 83.
“We saw 83 West Aussies score Division One prizes in 2023 sharing in a total of $220 million,” she said.
“We’re celebrating the largest number of Division One winners across our State since 2016.
“The good news is the WA community also wins, with more than $5.9 million from Megadraw’s ticket sales going towards Lotterywest’s grants program.”
Plus, 34 WA players matched the numbers for a Division Two prize of more than $11,000 each.
The Winning Numbers from tonight’s draw were 39, 38, 3, 2, 11, and 23, with the Supplementary Numbers 22 and 35.
