Tractor Factor: Boyup Brook Division One winner revealed

One man’s long weekend just got that bit longer after coming forward to claim Saturday Lotto’s Division One ticket worth almost $595,000.

The ticket was sold at Boyup Brook IGA.

“I was getting some tractor parts this week and while I was waiting I grabbed the paper and realised I had won,” the winner said.

“I put it in my pocket and got the tractor parts.”

A retirement boost and birthday celebrations for his wife are some of the plans for his winnings, however he admitted the win won’t change him as a person.

“I’ll still be the grumpy old bugger from Boyup Brook,” he said.

Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said the search continues for another regional winner to come forward.

“A Saturday Lotto Division One winner from Kalbarri is yet to come through to our Winners Room to claim their prize worth more than $960,000,” Ms Coleman said.

“September has been a fruitful month for our regional players with two Division One prizes so far.

“When you play Lotterywest games, you help bring Western Australian dreams to life.”

Thanks to our players, Lotterywest is able to give back millions to the WA community, including a $21,130 grant towards free community activities at the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival 2019.
