Powerball has powered to an eye-watering $80 million.
This is the second time Powerball has gone to an $80 million jackpot this year.
A Powerball jackpot occurs when no one from across the country has been able to match up the winning numbers.
“It’s incredibly exciting to see the number climb,” Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said.
“A high volume of entries pushes up the amount of the following draw, and it keeps building until it has been won.”
Ms Coleman said that during Powerball’s four-week jackpot run nearly $10 million has been raised for Lotterywest’s grants program.
“This is such a win for the WA community,” she said.
The next chance to win big is in this Saturday's $10 million special event.
