Powerball jackpots to $200 million

Powerball has jackpotted to a record-breaking $200 million.

For the past six weeks, no ticket across the country has been able to match the numbers to a Division One prize.

Lotterywest Acting CEO Jeremy Hubble said next week’s Powerball draw will be the biggest prize offered in Australian Lotto history.

“The largest jackpot we have seen to date was Powerball’s $160 million draw in October 2022, where a WA ticket saw a group of workmates take home $53 million,” Mr Hubble said.

“Next week’s $200 million jackpot is a great opportunity for players to join a syndicate, which means they can share the cost of a ticket and possibly the joy of a win.”

Currently, Powerball holds the record for WA’s biggest win, which was set in 2021, when a group of 55 gym ladies celebrated an $80 million Powerball prize.

If a single ticket or a spilt prize is won by a WA player next week, it will surpass 2021’s record.

Tickets for next week’s $200 million Powerball jackpot are available in-store, online and via the Lotterywest App until 6pm on Thursday.
