Powerball has jackpotted to an incredible $100 million for the first time this year.
For the past four weeks, no ticket across the country has matched the numbers required for a Division One prize.
Lotterywest A/CEO Jeremy Hubble said the last time Powerball reached a $100 million jackpot was back in August last year.
“The largest Division One prize taken home by a WA player in 2023 was a $40 million prize, thanks to Powerball,” Mr Hubble said.
“If a WA player takes out the entire $100 million jackpot next week, it would set a new record for the State.
“Next week’s draw is a great opportunity for players to join a syndicate, which means they can share the cost of a ticket and potentially share the joy of a win.”
Powerball holds the record for WA’s biggest win, which has stood since 2021, when a group of 55 women celebrated an $80 million prize.
Tickets for next week’s $100 million Powerball jackpot are available in-store, online and via the Lotterywest App until 6pm on Thursday.
