There’s a chance Western Australia will be home to a group of new millionaires following tonight’s $30 million Midyear Megadraw.
Last year’s debut of the Midyear Megadraw, saw three WA players take home a prize worth $2.1 million each.
Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said Saturday Lotto has bragging rights as the game that creates the most WA Division One winners.
“In 2023, WA has welcomed 28 Saturday Lotto Division One winners,” he said.
“We are expecting a rush of ticket sales today, which we anticipate will peak between 11am and noon, where we are likely to sell just under 600 tickets a minute.
“Last year’s Midyear Megadraw saw 460,000 WA players take home prizes between Divisions two and seven, along with three Division One winners.”
Tickets are available from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app until 6pm draw day.
