Division One Déjà vu for two WA retailers

The call out is on for two Saturday Lotto players from Canning Vale and Spearwood who will get to take home more than $382,000 each.

Saturday’s draw saw 10 Division One winners nationally, including tickets from the Lucky Charm Canning Vale and Spearwood Heights Newsagency.

It’s the second time this year both stores are celebrating big wins, each selling a Division One ticket in February.

Owner of The Lucky Charm Canning Vale Ruth Fortune said it was a wonderful feeling to sell another Division One prize.

“We sold a Division Two ticket the Saturday before, so it’s been a good run,” she said.

“It’s nice to know you can change someone’s life.”

Lotterywest Spokesperson Jennie Fitzhardinge said there’s another chance for WA players to win big thanks to Tuesday’s OZ Lotto jackpot.

“OZ Lotto has jackpotted to $50 million and we would love to see this run broken thanks to a WA ticket,” Ms Fitzhardinge said.

“This is a chance for family, friends or workmates to get involved in a syndicate; you never know this could be your chance to live the life.

“While it’s exciting to play Lotterywest games, it’s important to remember by playing you’re also helping to bring Western Australian dreams to life.”

The past year has seen more than $1.4 million go towards Canning Value community groups, including Canning Vale Prekindy and St Vincent De Paul Society.

Players are encouraged to play responsibly and spend only what they can afford.
