West Australians have less than 12 hours to get their chance for a potentially life-revolutionising entry in tonight’s $110 million Powerball.
Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney advised people to get in early for the 6pm Powerball draw.
“If a WA winner takes out tonight’s $110 million jackpot, it will set a new national record,” Mr Mooney said.
“Our advice is get in early as we anticipate between 4-5pm to be incredibly busy, peaking at more than 1100 tickets to be sold a minute.
“This draw is a chance for family, friends or workmates to get together in a syndicate – just imagine the celebrations from sharing $110 million.”
This week has seen a fast start for WA players, with a Division One Monday Lotto ticket worth $1 million sold from newsXpress in Whitford City.
The Lotterywest’s winner’s room has been busy catering for a syndicate of 10 from Noranda and Bull Creek, each sharing in a $1.5 million portion from last Saturday’s Superdraw.
Lotterywest is a unique WA icon, founded on the basic premise of helping our local community. When people play Lotterywest games they have a chance to live in their Dream State.
