Clarkson family of eight collect $3.3 million Superdraw win

After years of renting, a Clarkson family of eight can now live in a home of their own, thanks to Saturday Lotto’s $20 million Superdraw.

Their ticket, from Newsxpress Ocean Keys in Clarkson, was one of two Division One prizes produced in the State in Saturday’s draw – each ticket worth more than $3.3 million.

The win has opened the door for the couple in their 50’s to move into their dream home.

“There’s a house we have been looking at, we would park outside and say one day we will live in this house,” they said.

“We have a large family so our first thought was our kids, we have always lived in nice rentals, but it was never our own.”

Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said the couple was the first out of a trio of local Division One winners from the weekend to come forward.

“Lotterywest is still on the lookout for another Division One winner from Saturday’s draw, which was sold at Here's Luck Lottery Centre in Cloverdale,” Mr Mooney said.

“There’s also the owner of a Division One Set for Life ticket sold from Nextra Ellenbrook News that we would love to meet as well.

“This prize is worth $20,000 a month for the next 20 years.”

WA has plenty of chances to continue this good run of wins this week, with tonight’s $20 million OZ Lotto jackpot, followed by Thursday’s $60 million Powerball draw.

Tickets are available until 6pm draw day from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
