Boyup Brook on the map

All eyes are on Boyup Brook with a winning Saturday Lotto ticket yet to be claimed worth more than $594,000.

The ticket, sold from Boyup Brook IGA, was one of seven Saturday Lotto Division One tickets sold across the country on the weekend.

Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said it was delightful to hear the news of another Saturday Lotto Division One winner in WA.

“This winning ticket has taken WA’s Division One total to 43 for the year,” Ms Coleman said.

“We are still waiting to hear from the owner of a ticket worth $960,296 from Kalbarri News and Gift Centre sold earlier this month.”

Owner of Boyup Brook IGA Anne Thompson said she was thrilled to be able to say her outlet had sold a Division One prize.

“In the 10 years we have owned the store we have sold two Division Two tickets, but now we can add a Division One to that list,” she said.

“We are hoping to see if it’s a local or if it is someone from out of town, but we are happy to put Boyup Brook on the map.”

Thanks to our players, Lotterywest is able to give back millions to the WA community, including a $21,130 grant towards free community activities at the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival 2019.
