Decision Review

We want all applicants to feel our EOI process is transparent, fair and consistent, when appointing new Lotterywest outlets.

If you have questions about our decisions, please contact us on 133 777. We might be able to resolve your query without the need for a formal review.

What is a Decision Review?

A Decision Review is a mechanism for you to seek a review of a decision related to our New Outlet EOI application process.

A Decision Review can be undertaken if the applicant has evidence that the process was not followed correctly or we did not consider information that could change the decision of the outcome.

The Lotterywest Decision Review process is an internal review undertaken by senior team members (assessors) who were not involved in the original assessment of an application. They aim to be consistent and objective in their approach.

They follow best practice to ensure their decision accurately reflects the policy and processes of Lotterywest and that the facts are established based on evidence.

Who can make an application for a Decision Review?

Only the applicant/s listed in the original application form can request a Decision Review and only if the above criteria is met.

Decision Review Process

The review is undertaken in two stages:

  1. Preliminary review to assess what evidence has been provided.
  2. Full review where the evidence provided is assessed to establish the validity and impact on the initial decision.

If an assessor asks for more information, you'll need to provide it within the timeframe specified by the assessor. An assessor can also liaise with the original decision maker and other relevant people.
