Perth's wheelie cool workplace

Lotterywest and Healthway are switching four wheels for two, rolling together for WA’s first Bike Month Challenge.

The month is set to encourage more people to take up cycling on a regular basis, in turn gearing up to a healthier lifestyle and workplace.

Riders can log their journey via the WA Bike Month Website, with Lotterywest and Healthway banding together for a team breakfast and motivational speech by West Cycle’s Phil Taylor.

“Riding a bike is a fun way to reduce your carbon footprint and can save you money on petrol and car parking fees,” Mr Taylor said.

“The State Government’s record investment in cycling infrastructure will encourage more people of all abilities and ages to ride a bike for transport, for fun and for a healthier lifestyle.

“With WA’s glorious weather, clean air and growing network of safe, connected and convenient places to ride, there has never been a better opportunity to leave your car at home.”
