Western Australia has delivered its second OZ Lotto Division One winner in just three weeks, with tonight’s prize worth $5.9 million.
The ticket, produced from The Lucky Charm Waikiki, was the only Division One winner from across the nation.
Tonight’s multi-million-dollar win follows hot on the heels of a $7.5 million OZ Lotto prize, the biggest in WA so far this year, won by a southern suburbs couple last month.
Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said it was now the fifth WA OZ Lotto Division One win since May.
“These five big winners produced in May, July, October, November and now December, have shared in a collective $23 million worth of prizes,” she said.
“Tonight’s win also contributes to our fast-growing tally of Division One Lotto winners across all our games for 2020, which has now reached 74.”
A further 26,354 other WA players collected a prize in tonight’s jackpot across the other Divisions.
The next big chance for players to win big is the upcoming $30 million Megadraw on 2 January 2021. Tickets are available from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
