Lotto ballin’ with Powerball refresh

Lotterywest has launched a bold, but more importantly, ‘ballin’ new campaign, all in the name of Powerball.

Ruby Broun, Manager Brand and Campaign at Lotterywest said the new campaign’s soundtrack will be powered through the music stylings of Noongar and Wongi man and hip-hop artist Joshua Eggington, known as Flewnt, in collaboration with Panda Candy.

“Powerballin’ is about enjoying the pure, unprecedented freedom a Powerball win can offer,” Ms Broun said.

“The fact we can have Flewnt as the sound for the new campaigns, literally speaks for itself, ballin.

“The campaign introduces us to a cast of new characters who live out their ultimate Powerballin’ move, be it roller-skating at in your 80s, breaking the buzz cut rule of a cadet or an apprentice hiring their own apprentice.

“The campaign encourages our audience to think about what their Powerballin’ move would be.”

“From a recent sales perspective Powerball is our biggest performer, which means it also provides the most significant contribution to our grants program.”

Powerball has delivered around $93.9 million towards Lotterywest’s grants program for the 2022-23 financial year.

This funding has helped Lotterywest support a range of WA community groups from Perth Festival, Outback Academy Australia to a $1 million grant supporting marine biomass under the Busselton Jetty.

Powerballin’ takes over the previous campaign ‘Powerball Problems,’ which launched in 2018.
