Lady luck strikes WA with three Lotto wins

Western Australia has struck Lotto luck not once, not twice but three times over the weekend, after the State produced three Division One winning tickets worth a combined $1.1 million on Saturday night.

Two of these tickets, each worth $555,248, were produced on Saturday Lotto and sold at Busy Bee Lottery Kiosk in Kelmscott and Morley Millions.

Owner of Morley Millions Jay Xu said it was the first Division One ticket his store had sold since taking over three years ago.

“We’re very happy with the news and hope that it goes to one of our regular customers, many of who keep coming back time and time again,” he said.

WA’s struck lucky again on Saturday night, after another local player took home a Division One prize on Super66.

The ticket, worth $31,591, was purchased from Lakers News in Lakelands.

All three of WA’s latest Division One winners remained unclaimed.

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said it was an exciting week for Lotto players with a combined $40 million up for grabs.

“There’s two big chances to scoop big starting on Thursday with Powerball’s $20 million jackpot, followed by a $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw this weekend,” she said.

“When local players buy tickets in these draws, they are also supporting WA with all available profits going towards the Lotterywest COVID-19 Relief Fund.”
