A Western Australian ticket has once again taken out a multi-million jackpot prize – this time in last night's OZ Lotto jackpot, scooping the entire $20 million Division One prize pool.
The ticket was the only Division One winner from across the country and brings the tally of WA Division One wins this year to 51.
Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said as the Division One prize is $20 million, at this stage Lotterywest will hold off sharing the exact location of where the ticket was sold, a policy which encourages the protection of the player.
“What I can share is the Division One winning ticket was sold in the metropolitan area, is a single entry ticket, and is not registered,” Mr Mooney said.
“Last night's draw also produced more than 46,000 other WA winners across the other Divisions, so either way it’s best to check your ticket.
“The WA community has also been a winner, with almost $2.7 million raised thanks to players over the four-week jackpot roll which will contribute to our grants program.”
