Lotto love was shared throughout the metro area, with the City of Stirling and The City of Swan and The City of Cockburn home to four winners a piece for 2019.

Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said the year gone by had seen winners come from the far and wide corners of Western Australia.

"We managed to beat 2018's Division One total of 57 winners, closing out the year with 59 for 2019," Mr Mooney said.

"We've seen winners throughout WA, from Carnarvon to Albany, share in more than $71 million worth of Division One prizes in 2019.

"It never gets old welcoming our winners to Lotterywest HQ to hear each unique story and their plans on what to do with their winnings."

Saturday Lotto was once again the game that pulled in the highest number of Division One winners with 42 locals picking up a life changing amount of money.
