A spur of the moment decision to buy a Slikpik 12 Megadraw ticket has turned into a Division One prize of more than $2.7 million.
A couple, from within the Morley area, bought the ticket from Crimea Newsagency in Morley that matched the numbers 39, 13, 19, 1, 37 and 31.
The husband said his wife was the one who usually purchased Lottyerwest games, however was glad he followed his 'spur of the moment' decision.
"I had $10 in my pocket and thought “why not?”," he said.
"It's normally my wife's job to grab the tickets, but this time I did it.
"I was playing a game of solitaire at the time when she told me we had won, so I quickly gave that game away."
The couple plan to look after their family while trying to work out holiday plans.
Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said there's still two WA Division One winners on the loose.
"We're still waiting to hear from the owners of a Saturday Lotto ticket from Ballajura and a Play Online account each worth $1.075 million," Ms Coleman said.
"We would love to see our winners start off the new year with a bang."
So far 2019 has produced 59 WA Division One winners.
