WA produces two more Division 1 Lotto winners

Things are about to heat up for two lucky punters in Western Australia who will each pocket almost $330,000 in Saturday Lotto prize money following the weekend’s draw.

The Division 1 winning tickets were sold at Forest Lakes Lottery Centre in Thornlie and Bayswater News & Lotteries.

Forest Lakes Lottery Centre owner Haresh Kerai said this was the second Division 1 winning ticket sold in Thornlie in less than four months.

“A ticket worth over half a million dollars was sold back in March,” Mr Kerai said.

“The weekend wins mark the 36th and 37th Division 1 wins for Western Australia so far this year,” he added.

Lotterywest spokeswoman Chloe Lawler said she hoped the State’s roll of Lotto luck would continue with the $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw just days away.

“They say when it rains it pours and that certainly seems to be the case in WA at the moment,” Ms Lawler said.

“So grab your brolly, brace the cold and purchase a ticket in this Saturday’s Superdraw – your weekend could get a whole lot sunnier,” she added.

It’s expected the Superdraw will generate over $3.5 million for the WA community.

“When you purchase Lotterywest products, about one third of every dollar you spend is returned to benefit the community,” Ms Lawler said.

Tickets for the $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw are available until 6pm on draw day in-store, through Play Online or by downloading the Lotterywest app.
