Superdraw success strikes WA

They say things come in threes, which was the case following last night’s $21 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw after three tickets purchased in Western Australia each took home a $1.4 million Division 1 Lotto prize.

The State’s winning tickets were amongst 15 sold nationally and were purchased from:

  • Medical Centre News and Lotteries in Nedlands
  • Mandurah Greenfields Newsagency
  • Westminster Pharmacy and News

More than 165,000 other WA players took home a prize across the other Divisions, including 20 lucky locals who each pocketed over $11,000.

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said Lotterywest stores had reported a busy day yesterday with lots of locals wanting to get a piece of the Superdraw action.

“During our busiest hour yesterday close to 500 tickets were purchased each minute,” Ms Compagnone said.

“We’re thrilled so many players got behind the draw and that some of those struck Division 1 lucky!”

WA’s tally of Division 1 Lotto winners for the year has now reached 30. These winners have shared in close to $70 million worth of prizes.

It wasn’t just WA winners that benefited in last night’s Superdraw, so did the WA community with Lotterywest raising close to $4 million to support things in the community that make WA great.

WA players will have another chance to win big when a $15 million jackpot goes up for grabs in OZ Lotto on Tuesday night.

Tickets are available until draw day in-store, through Play Online or by downloading the Lotterywest app.
